Author Biography

Drew Bankston lives in the Rocky Mountains with his wife, two amazingly perfect dogs, and a garden.

Before he started writing science fiction, Drew received his bachelor’s degree in Bio-Ag Sciences from Colorado State University. After that, just to shake things up, he never really used that degree but worked various jobs in retail and Asset Protection with some really important people who are way too dignified to be named here. He’s still working but would eventually like to write full-time and stop working for other people. He likes pie and chocolate, as everyone should.

Wishing and Hoping

We all daydream. We all wish and hope that someday this or that will happen to make our lives better. Some people act on those wishes and hopes. Others get busy with life and watch those dreams slowly fade away. In the "Imagination Stone", the team watch as their dreams slowly become realities. They watch their fears melt away and their plans come to fruition. Isn't that something we all want? The Imagination Stone

“Someday,” he said quietly, “wouldn’t it be great to expand and have outdoor offices? What if we could have a place where food was served, naps could be taken and music could be listened to?”
“And a small company water park?” Brett said.
“And trams that take you from one department to another, through other lands and fantasy worlds within the building?” Joe added.
“And a place where entire families can spend the day and have fun,” Julie said quietly.
