“What is wrong with you tonight?” Jessi asked.
“I don’t know,” Erin said. “I really don’t know. Barry’s being so weird and I have no idea why.”
“Uh huh,” Jessi said. “What is he doing that you think is weird? Seems perfectly normal to me, or at least as normal as Barry can be.”
“I can’t put my finger on it, but he’s just not himself all of the sudden. Everything was fine before you and Jim got here, and then he just changed. He got…”
“Weird?” Jessi asked.
“Yeah. Exactly!” Erin said distractedly.
“Well,” Jessi said turning on the water in the sink, “you know my thoughts on Barry.”
“Yes, and I don’t care to hear them again now either.”
“And yet,” Jessi said washing her hands, “I believe you shall hear them anyway since you have taken me captive in the woman’s lavatory.” She did her best British accent.
“No, please Jessi,” Erin begged, but Jessi continued without mercy.
