Strange meetings
You know, I've heard of some pretty strange meetings between people and even some stranger ones that have resulted in long lasting friendships, but I think this one takes the cake. I'm not really sure how I would react if in a similar situation. How about you? Sounds of Tomorrow
“Yeah. Erin and I met at a movie theater. We were going to see the same movie. She had bought some popcorn and left it on her seat while she sent out to buy something to drink. I walked in and saw the abandoned popcorn and just figured that someone left it there for me. So I picked it up, sat down and started eating it. Well, needless to say, when she got back, she was a little upset that I was eating her popcorn. I told her that I wasn’t very happy either because the popcorn didn’t have enough butter. I handed it back to her and said that she should go get some butter on it. She said that maybe I should go and get it, so I stood up, took the popcorn, and went back out to the lobby, got the butter and came back. When I sat down next to her, she seemed like she was really mad, but then I offered her some buttered popcorn and she was really happy. We talked for a while and watched the movie together. I got her number and bam! Here we are today. Weird, huh?”
Jim couldn’t believe what he was hearing. He just looked at Barry. “Incredible,” he said.
“Yeah, she is,” Barry said.
