Author Biography

Drew Bankston lives in the Rocky Mountains with his wife, two amazingly perfect dogs, and a garden.

Before he started writing science fiction, Drew received his bachelor’s degree in Bio-Ag Sciences from Colorado State University. After that, just to shake things up, he never really used that degree but worked various jobs in retail and Asset Protection with some really important people who are way too dignified to be named here. He’s still working but would eventually like to write full-time and stop working for other people. He likes pie and chocolate, as everyone should.

Differences

Andrew is an ordinary man who accidentally stumbles into extraordinary circumstances. In this excerpt, he has accidentally crossed over into another dimension where things are not quite the same as they were in his. Because the people are the same but with different skills and personalities he forgets who he's actually speaking with. Andrew was a little taken aback by this statement and somewhat offended. “I got zapped? As I recall, I had to tell you to stop playing with it before you got zapped.”
Matthew put down the notepad and turned threateningly toward Andrew. He glared and said, “In your world?”
Andrew calmed down a bit at this statement and remembered where he was. “Yeah. In my world. In my world, Matt is a great guy and a good friend, but he tends to be a little off the wall sometimes. I’m sorry, I forgot where I was.”
Matthew softened and replied, “Yeah, well, you’re in my world now. And in my world, Andy is the one who’s a little ‘off the wall.’”
