Outside, the storm’s intensity grew. Lightning struck every several seconds. Several strikes hit the transport craft. Someone read the control panel and said, “The winds are up to 195 kph.”
Debris struck the transport frequently. On the wayward side of the vehicle was a shielded observation port. Linsora and several others went to watch, raising the shield.
The darkness of the sky belied the fact that it was late afternoon. The lightning gave an eerie strobe effect to the objects flying by. The greenish rain glowed with the phosphor falling from the upper layers of the clouds. Evaporation was so intense and rapid from the Green Sea that many minerals were brought into the clouds. Phosphorous, which caused the Green Sea to be green, would make up a large part of the cloud.
