Permac examined the offerings and scooped mounds of the local vegetables stewed in some brown sauce on his plate. As a nod to balance, he placed a chunk or two of meat on the vegetable pile. Satisfied with his selection, he returned to Linsora.
“You should eat more vegetables,” he said as he sat next to her, turning the chair, so his back was to the throng of Carratians.
“I have a few plants; you have a little meat,” Linsora popped a chunk of meat into her mouth and winced as the spices hit the cut on her cheek. “Not bad. Anyway, Permac, I have to tell you something.
