The short, round woman ambled to Linsora’s workstation. A broad grin crossed her face. Denub liked to think of herself as a collector of people and information. She had never worked with a Khizaran and, after some initial fear, had grown to like the energy surrounding Linsora. The Khizaran woman launched herself into work with the fervor of a warrior going into battle. More than once Denub had to remind Linsora to sleep, although the slender Khizaran never seemed to miss a meal.
Linsora was one of the last remaining crew members on the ship who could still tolerate Denub and Captain Haavens was surprised at how well the two of them interacted. Denub, in her zeal to collect information, pestered everyone within earshot with endless questions. Haavens reasoned that they were, in a sense, kindred spirits, since Linsora had her own propensity for questions.
