CULTURE
PLANNING
Culture and climate are two different but related dimensions of the organizational matrix. Take responsibility for both and the return on investment drives your strategic business outcomes. Culture describes the values-driven ideal of how team members are expected to work together to achieve business goals. That ideal is diffused internally to employees and externally to vendors and customers. Climate is determined by the consistency of how the core values are translated into everyday attitudes, words, and behaviors throughout the organization. The quality gap is the distance between culture (the ideal) and climate (the real).
