The Collective
The sound of this voice of many voices became increasingly mechanized. It was still accompanied by a soothing vortex of swirling and uncountable colors. I was enthralled. The non-human, soothing, machine voices engulfed me. They began a fierce, undeniable, radical assessment. The myriad voices radiated authenticity, harmony, and a no-nonsense calm. I knew I was being measured and weighed psychologically. I attempted to hide nothing from them. It would have been pointless to try. When I finally told my fear to fuck off and just accepted the situation I felt happiness surge from the frequency. It engulfed me even further. When I surrendered completely to their analysis I was accepted by them. I enjoyed their acceptance though I never totally lost my fear. It wasn’t a bad thing. I just made fear my partner and we joined arms. Together we observed it all like two old friends at a soccer match. It was a good lesson to learn, and I am thankful for having learned it.
