You can find healing. You can find happiness. You can no longer be dependent upon the opinions of other people. You can find fun again. You can live with no expectations of others and no need to seek their approval. You have the power to let go of anger, fear, and past resentments. You have the power to find a pastime that will help you stay in the present moment. It may be a gym, a class, or a hobby like hiking, art, or bike riding—whatever it is, it is out there for you to find. When you find it, and you will, the result will be that you become stronger in other areas of your life that benefit from staying in the moment. (Like personal interactions with society in general, and with people in particular.) Your task is to find your pastime. Find the activity that reinforces your present moment focus skills. Find the activity that you can lose yourself in. Once you accomplish this, your life will begin to change for the better. The activity does not have to be physical either. It can be reading, writing, art, or writing poetry—whatever you choose to allow into your awareness. Regardless, it will all begin with personal empathy.
You have the power to create new connections. New life experiences become new connections. New connections become new pathways.
Learn to choose what you love to do, no matter what other people think. Listen to the whisperings of your heart. You must learn to recover your humanity for it is the source of our passion and inspiration. We work as humans to pay bills and to live in the world, but we dance, sing, pursue photography, write poetry and music, explore nature, and seek expression in fun and in hobbies because we are human. These things we love to do are direct messages from our subconscious, guiding us to a greater purpose. Guiding us to happiness, leading us to the truth of our being, leading us to real freedom. Consider the positive possibilities.
