The well-disciplined captain will never break from the stare,
Of Bracken’s red diamond eyes and their volcanic glare.
He calmly leaps to the top of goblin bodies piled high,
And locks death link with Bracken, alone in the sky.
He smiles a reckless, fine smile only a young warrior
would dare,
At the Black Death exploding out of cold night air.
The very first and last battle this young captain ever fought,
A young knight on a chessboard, bravely cornered and caught.
This was a fight to the death, a fight for what’s right,
Kell’s personal fight for freedom will bring injustice to light.
And when the harshest dragon fire of bright purple and red,
Exploded like many suns above his head,
Within the very last instant of the brave captain’s young life,
Kell the peaceful warrior, grinned at Bracken’s new strife.
For truth to power is always the way,
To bring in the freedom of a brand-new day.
Truth to power is the temple where courage lives,
The more it is spoken the more freedom it gives.
