“So delicious?”
“No. Sodalicious! Get it?”
“Is that truly a word, Maxzyne?”
“Of course not. I just made it up. My language arts teacher, Ms. Clark, says made-up words are usually funny words like ‘sodalicious.’ They’re not in the dictionary, but they could be. They’re called ‘sniglets.’”
“You mean we could even have our own language? Make up our own words?” Elise is thrilled.
“Sure. Why should grown-ups get to make up all the words?”
