Everyone dreams, and dreams can be puzzling, happy, or scary. Dreams cannot be taken literally; they are given to us by Spirit as messages. Even though there are often many others in your dream—sometimes people you know—everyone in the dream is an aspect of yourself.
For example, if you dream you are running from someone, you are running from yourself. There is something within yourself that lies buried, dormant, or hidden deep that you are reluctant to deal with, and you are running from that truth or situation.
If you dream you have a newborn baby, it most often means new beginnings are in your near future. If you dream you are riding a bicycle or motorcycle, it means you need more balance in your life in some area. These are just a few examples. There are many resources available online and in books if you are interested in more information on deciphering dreams.
Dreams are a way for Spirit to teach us, a way to remind us of unfinished business, a way to help us grow, or perhaps a gentle nudge to get moving on a situation that is holding us back from spiritual advancement. A good way to remember your dreams is to keep a journal by your bedside and then write down as much of the dream as you can remember as soon as you wake up.
