Synopsis

Sophia McFadden, a Water Microbiologist, never thought her assignment to solve a water crisis in Romala could put her in harm’s way.
After three escapes from harm, Sophia receives a call to flee the town, end her analyses, or perish. She considers leaving, but quitting shows her failing her mission.
A corrupt oil mogul and his hordes of extraterrestrials and humanoids offer a sizable bounty on Sophia’s head. A daring agent steps forward to help her, but now peril stalks both—if she solves the mysterious enigma in the ocean.

Author Biography

Ardith Arnelle Price, an author based in Michigan, writes inspirational literature in the genres of Christian Apocalypse, Science Fiction, and Fantasy.

For her series of Christian Sci-fi Futuristic/Fantasy novels, Ardith assumes the pen name Ardith A. Price.

Ardith has been passionate about storytelling since her early years, crafting imaginative supernatural realms and characters since she was in elementary school. Her talent and dedication have earned her notable acclaim, notably for her work “Looking Through the Sea of Glass,” which received distinguished recognition at the 28th Annual Writer’s Digest Self-Published Book Awards in 2020. Over the years, Ardith has authored several works, including her bestselling novel, Just the Edge of God.

Ardith is an accomplished musician, educator, Bible studies enthusiast, foreign languages enthusiast, information technology manager, and web designer. She and her husband live in the Detroit metropolitan area.

Ardith, a dedicated Christian, actively participates in a variety of community and professional organizations. She holds lifetime memberships in Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc., Sigma Alpha Iota (Music Fraternity), and the American Association of University Women. People were missing in 2030 and Sophia was in trouble because she had found something that would shock Jon, the newly elected mayor of Romala. People today don’t believe in the coming of Yeshua/Jesus. He is coming back but before He does. A disappearance of the Saints who are ready will happen and the world will turn upside down. This shocking event is called the “catching away” or better known as the rapture. In 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18, Paul explains that the rapture is a forthcoming event in which those who have died believing in Christ will be raised to life. Alongside the living followers of Jesus, they will be spiritually lifted up— or "caught up" (harpazō)—and gathered together in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Her head was whirling. What trouble did she set in motion? She had gotten into trouble with the Arab government while on an archeological dig in Cairo. She groaned, put her hands over her eyes, and began crying. Her neglect of praying had caused her grief and distance from Messiah Yeshua. People disappeared in 2030. The tribulation started, and she ignored the signs of the Messiah. A drastic mistake to forget Hashem.

She peered up at him, watched him swallow hard, and glance away from his piercing eyes.

“Jon, I must tell you something. It might shock you.” She focused her attention on the scenery in front of her.

“I am listening.” He turned and waited for her to speak.
