This story is of a fictional but very true-to-life set of circumstances for a ten-year-old boy whose family moves to a new town and puts him in a new school where he encounters the school Bully. He feels lost in his emotions and is very concerned about dealing with this new chapter in his life. So many children in our schools, sporting events, and online platforms are being picked on and Bullied today. It is now escalating to a much deeper emotional trauma that can stick with them throughout their life if not dealt with properly. The mission here is to teach children at a young age through Christian principles and good moral values that Bullying is not an acceptable solution to any conflict. Violence will not take away the feelings and emotions driving the anger behind the behavior of Bullying. Children who are being Bullied need to stand up for themselves in a way that will not bring more harm to the situation by learning peaceful conflict resolution. The words of Jesus Christ, as written so many years ago, still to this day display such a truth that will translate into our modern lives when applied that can and will change the life of the one that chooses to follow them. When something unexpected happens in life.
When faced with a change in our lives, things can feel a bit overwhelming. Well, that's not any different for our children. It may even be harder for them than it is for adults. They also can experience the stress and anxiety that we all feel when confronted with change. This story brings change into Davy's world and exposes' him to a whole set of new experiences. While most are very pleasant and exciting, not everything goes perfect, as life seldom does. And Davy is confronted with a situation that is new to him and, that is the behavior of bullying. When Davy enters his new school, he gets bullied and is unsure what to do about it. But as his relationship with his family, new friends, and most importantly God, grow in faith and trust, a very different and somewhat unexpected result occurs.
