On Loss

Nothing is the same when Haven returns. Nobody is the same. A boy needs his best friends to feel okay. Emotions rear their heads in ugly ways, and leave a wreck.

On Narcissism

Being a teenager is hard. In between every confusing feeling, dealing with family and tempers, and a terminally ill sibling, it feels nearly impossible. A mother's job is to support her children, to comfort them, to try and ease their growing pains a bit. But not every kid gets this luxury.

Haven's great escape
