    THE IRRESISTIBLE BACHELOR is a standalone read with a happy ending. There are no sexy scenes in great detail so if it is an issue I would say read and see what you think. I didn't find anything to really get upset about. The story is set on an island reachable only by ferry and a 2 hr. ride from the mainland. It is in the Rhode Island area.

    Gianna lives on the island and owns a landscaping company. She designs as well as does manual labor for the homes on the island. She is single and lives alone in a home with a garage apartment above it. Her cousin calls her and asks her to hire a friend of his. He is a billionaire, comes from a very wealthy family, think the Kennedy's. They have a bet going that this friend, Alec, has probably never worked a day in his life doing anything difficult like hard labor. If Alec wins the bet, his cousin's friend will have to be in a bachelor auction to benefit a charity. If he loses, he will have to be in the auction.

    Neither guy wants to do it but one is going to have to. The cousin, Duncan, is so sure his friend can't handle going to work and mowing lawns or pulling weeds much less digging ditches to lay in a sprinkler system. He is sure he has a win in the bag.

    Along the way, Gianna, who agrees to hire Alec and let him live in her garage apartment starts to fall for him. He is nothing like what she thought. His picture is on every magazine and he is always photographed with beautiful women - lots of beautiful women.

    In Alec's defense, he dates lots of women because he has never met one he wanted to keep around. He has lived a privileged life but little do they know he worked summers with his family and he is not afraid of hard work. Plus, being around Gianna he is finding out that they have a lot in common.

    This is a really good story. I found it to be entertaining and I would definitely recommend it. It is a fun and enjoyable read.

    Alec to spend one month working for a landscaping company he accepted the challenge in anticipation of seeing Duncan on stage at an auction for his Aunts charity. Feeling up for the challenge he moved to Sanborn Island expecting to return when the month was up. He didn't expect to fall for Duncan's his boss Gianna.     The Sherbrook family is large and in charge. They love to spend time together and always support the family they love. This adds so much to the story. I like the slow burn of Alec and Giannia. Alec knows what he wants but takes things slow because he doesn't want to rush into anything. His persistence pays off with a happy ending.

This time friend Duncan bets uber wealthy Alec Sherbrooke that he cannot last being on a landscaper crew for a month for his sister, Gi, on an East Coast Island. Alec falls for Gi in nothing flat. She’s good with a fling but doesn’t see it possible for anything more due to prior experiences with non-island people. This is a good read about how he survives the bet and they overcome their issues. I enjoyed it. The sex is not done in too much detail. The romance has good hiccups.
