Avery Troy stopped in North Salem last year to visit with her sisters and meet her newborn niece. A romantic relationship was not on her radar.     I absolutely love Christina Tetreault's books. I own most of them. That's why I'm struggling with this review. I had trouble remembering Steve and Avery. I felt a bit lost because of it. But I remembered characters and locations around their story. One of my favorite things an author does, including past characters in books even from other series, ended up being a con in this one. It's actually a bit devastating.

    But I loved how real their story, conversation, and actions were throughout. I adored Avery and Morgan's relationship as well as how Steve and his ex-wife interacted. It ended a bit too soon, but I loved going straight into Isabelle and Cam/CJ's story that is part of another series. This may not be a favorite right now, but I suspect that once I reread the series all at once, it will probably change for me.

    This is the second book from the Love on the North Shore Series that I have read and already looking for the rest to finish this great series! In all her writing you get to really like and understand stand the characters and really get invested as the story unfolds. As doing so you may even come upon as few surprises you didn’t count on. I highly recommend all her books. Great reading on a beautiful summer day! I know I can’t wait to start my next one! Safe summer enjoy!!

    This is the seventh book from the Love on the North Shore Series and I must confess I haven't read them all, but I loved how easy it was for me to follow the narrative and the goings-on of the characters in this story.
    Avery and Steve are the headline characters in this happy-ever-after choose-me trope. It is a wonderful story. The plot is clear the characters amazingly believable and the conflict very relatable.
    A solid four-star read.
