About the author

M.J. Evans is the award-winning author of fifteen books, most of which are middle-grade and young adult fantasies. As a life-long equestrian, she frequently includes horses or horse-based fantasy creatures in her stories. She is a former teacher of middle school and high school students and the mother of five. She loves competing in Dressage and riding in the beautiful Colorado mountains.
