    These books are simple easy reads. Good beach reading. The stories lack depth and are formulaic, and the characters are one dimensional. My biggest issue is that each book lacks resolution. I’ve now read 9 books in the series and there are still unresolved issues. Each book has a set of characters and a storyline. While many characters appear in future books, the story is never finalized.
