    I loved this story. There was some drama, but it wasn't a long drawn out process like some stories are, and I appreciate that fact. What I appreciate even more is the fact that is not all sex, with very little story line. IMO- These stories are perfect for readers who would rather leave the sexual parts of the story to our own imaginations.

    I loved the whole Sherbrookes family, and Jen's family, also. They might be a powerful family, but they are down to earth everyday kind of people, who's not above each other a "gotcha" when they are all together. I alos loved the fact that Jen took the bull by the horns and stood firm when it counted, even though this whole thing was new to her. She had a back-bone when needed, and I absolutely love that in any heroine.

    Now that I'm completely hooked, I'm off to order more of this series.

    Jennifer Wallace meets Brett thru letters they wrote for two years while Brett was away. She is very well liked by all of Brett's family but has a few things in her past that create a problem.
    This is a sweet romantic story with a few ups and downs that will keep you interested.
    I can't wait for the next book and highly recommend this one.

    I’ve read some of the Sherbrooke series and have liked them. This was an enjoyable read. It didn’t start out like I thought it would in the description. I hoped there would be examples of letters between Brett and Jen to show how the relationship started. The book has a little language which I could do without but the intimate scenes are less descriptive.

    This was an amazing addition to the Sherbrooke series with Brett Sherbrooke leaving his career in the military to come back home to work for Homeland Security cyber division and unexpectedly entering the political arena like his father had wanted. For two years he had been writing to his friend Keith's sister Jennifer and they had become very close. It started with care packages from the girl scouts that Men got to really connect with Brett and get to know him. As soon as they met in person there was an immediate connection that quickly turned to love which made for an amazing romantic love story. How he ended up running for the Senate and all that it entailed was very interesting and just brought these two closer together which could have torn them apart. Politics can be a dirty business but they weathered the storm and came out united as a loving couple facing their problems together. This was a fantastic story and I hope there are more Sherbrooke stories.
