Shoot for Earth: MedSci Missions 3

Woon, flanked by alpha three and four, found Savna in her lab as expected. What wasn’t expected, was the ‘Search Pod Deluxe’ on her large screen instead of biochemical equations.
“You’re looking for Scott,” Woon said. It was a statement, not a question.
“Yes,” she said.
“We’re looking, too,” Woon said. “Do you mind if I have a look at that rescue pod?”
“You may,” she said, continuing to study it.
“Nice machine,” Woon said after a few minutes. “I don’t think you need it, though, if you want to come with us on our search. We have almost all the equipment it does, and a few things it doesn’t.”
It didn’t take long for Savna to blank her screen and turn around on her net. She pulled her tail out of a hole and slipped it into a new one so smoothly it was hardly noticeable.
“I would be grateful to join up with you in the search,” she said. “I’ve been putting off going because flying around alone figuring out how to search was a bit overwhelming. I’m a scientist.”
