Scott D’Amour lay on a mat of stacha plants, smelling the fragrance of pink and red marbled blossoms just above the mossy cushion of foliage. He was starting to think he could happily live here the rest of his life, if Savna would have him as a life partner. A flash of anger crossed through him. Would he have a choice? Would he be banned from the ship forever? His anger eased back. It was true the Ambassador had some cause. As he gently massaged the tail draped over his chest, he sighed inwardly. Another huge problem lay ahead. Savna didn’t know that he was working with a secret Fabarian organisation in his quest to aid Earth. She might well Shun him if she found out, and he wouldn’t blame her. Honesty was a big deal for him, too. A feeling of resolve solidified in him. If his perfect life here was going to be ruined by the truth, he’d rather find out sooner than later.
