Hands hurriedly reached to the back of a closet in one of Chiron’s living suites. Long dexterous digits opened a thick, shielding box, and riffled through it. Lifted out were neatly hand-labelled, alphabetised selections saying “Ike Kendrick, Jasper Grass, Louiza de Souza, Medina Nazer, Richard Walsh, Troy D’Amour, and Unice Dunch.” In an awkward hurry, the collected bottles were bunch together, pressed against a soft sweater, and carried to the lavatory. One by one, they were dropped into the toilet. Tedious safety procedures were carried out before disintegration cycles disappeared each of them for good. The re-locked sample box was then collected and carried under the sweater into the docking bay. There, a small section of wall panel was removed. Quickly, the box was stashed between carbon support structures in the wall. The panel was replaced, then repair compound that was squeezed out slightly shakily by slender fingers ensured a seamless look would be achieved in only five minutes.
