“Why did you call him Frankenstein?” Kaycee asked.
“Because it seemed like he was always trying to create something new in the house. He’s a bit of an inventor,” she said. “And, sometimes I think he’s a little bit of a monster. I love him but he is always creating situations that surprise me,” Mary said.
“Well, it looks like Frankie and Honker will be a good team. Honker is always up for something new,” Kari said.
“Two Siamese creatures seeking something new? Hold on neighborhood! You all might be in for a big surprise,” Kris said.
“I agree,” Kaycee said as she leaned down to pick up Fanta.
Mary was still holding Frankie as Kris reached over to pick up Little Honker. “What do you think, Honker? Are our new neighbors going to provide more new adventures for us?”
Little Honker was focused on Fanta and Frankie. The trio’s eyes were locked. There seemed to be instant bonding and before Mary, Kaycee, or Kris knew it, the four-legged gang jumped from their humans’ arms and were off together.
“There goes the Trio of Trouble!” Garret and Sheridan said at once.
