Then Warren saw it. He was very sure this was a stranger in the yard. It did not look like the butterflies, birds, or his kitty family. It was mostly black and had a wide white stripe down its back. What could it be? He knew he didn’t want to play with this stranger.
It was much bigger than Bernice and Bernard. Warren was sure that it did not belong in the yard. It started to come close to him and he was afraid. He let out a very loud honk. He honked again and again. Honk. Honk. Honk. His honking scared the stranger who prepared to attack.
Suddenly Bernice and Bernard looked over and saw the unwanted visitor. They knew that stranger and did not want their babies to have the stinky smell that sometimes comes with it.
Warren honked again and again. All of his brothers and sisters looked at him and then at the stranger.
They ran to Bernice and Bernard who quickly herded them into the house.
