Little Honker Saves the Day

The girls looked over to the bed full of cats. “Look,” Kris said. The kitten that doesn’t look quite like the others also seems smaller than the other kittens.”

“Our first surprise,” Kari said. “This one will not be a typical cat, but I bet this one will be filled with surprises. What should we call this little one?”

“I think if this is a boy, we should call it Warren. If it is a girl, we can call it Wanda after Aunt Wanda,” Kris said.

“I hope it is a boy. We should call him Warren after Uncle Warren,” Kari said. “He has never been the typical uncle and is always fun to be around. Remember when we were little and he used to let us walk on the ceiling? He was so tall and when he picked us up, he’d always flip us so we could put our feet on the ceiling.”

I do remember that. It was so much fun. Sometimes Aunt Beeze would turn on the music and the next thing we knew, Uncle Warren would have us dancing on the ceiling!” said Kris.

“This cat is going to be amazing!” Kari said. “I feel like we are going to have some excitement with this one.”
