Does God love me all the time? Will He ever leave me? In this rhyming verse story, children's probing questions of their dads show a burning desire to connect with God personally and to learn more about God. This story depicts a father's spiritual leadership as he teaches his child about a caring, unfailing, and capable God. Daddy, I Want to Know God is Book 2 of the series Families Growing in Faith.

Children indeed have many questions about God. They want to know about Him and if God knows them. Truth: God knows everything about us (Psalm 139:1). As children and adults, God will place a desire in our hearts to know Him. Scripture tells us that Paul had not yet attained to know God as he should, nevertheless, he was compelled toward that goal (Philippians 3:8-14). Unlike Paul, my belief in God occurred at a young age. But, like Paul, my desire to truly know Him has grown throughout my Christian journey. My constant prayer for children is that they will always have a heart to “know” God.
