This part of the book is very important because this is when Sara, and Kaden finally realize that they aren't in control of their voyage. Both children tried to change the direction of the hot air balloon but there is a special force that is guiding the hot air balloon. during this time, the hot air balloon makes an abrupt stop on an island. When the hot air balloon started to descend, the children saw a large fish jumping out of the water. This fish wasn't a normal fish. This "fish" becomes a significant part of their voyage. The scene afterwards is a big surprise because no one expects fish to talk, have magical powers or assist children in this dramatic navigation around the world....
