Dreamwork was Georgina’s favorite part of being a psychologist. “A dream is a gift from the wisest, most ancient part of oneself,” she explained to clients. “To ignore the gift can evoke the vengeance of fate.” Georgina knew from experience that dreams bring us knowledge of our unconscious motives. Sometimes she immediately understood the symbols the unconscious sent her, and sometimes it was only later that she’d know what a dream was preparing her for.
