Jake heard a car’s tires crunching on gravel in the driveway. He got his gun out and waited. In a moment he could hear footsteps on the porch. He was hidden but could see them walking across the porch. Perfect, mom, dad, and the 2 kids. The door opened, and they came in and closed the door. Jake stepped out from his hidden location.
“Shut up or die.”
“Sit down, Dougy. April tie him to the chair and make it good or I ventilate a kid.” The two girls were weeping and holding each other.
Bonnie debated telling him she wasn’t April but didn’t think it would improve things and might make them worse. Then he ordered her to tie each of the girls to a chair. Then he backed her into a chair with the gun against the back of her skull. He had a tie wrap which he cinched her hands with and then he laid down the gun and put a larger tie wrap around her elbows. He then checked Doug’s binding and added tie wraps and the same thing with the girls.
Doug said, “How much money will it take for this to all be over?”
“You don’t have enough money Dougy. I enjoy my work.”
