My hopes, however, sank when Camdyn led me up the steps of a white-framed clapboard house. Contrary to the map and sign, the building was too small and too plain for a museum. I started to say something but figured it might be some other Keeper facility instead.

My jaw dropped as I took in the sight. Apparently, the shoddy exterior was meant to deceive the public. The interior paid homage to Gothic Revival style. Sleek marble floors led in three directions. To my right and left were doorways with pointed arches. From my vantage point, I saw a few raised stone platforms with glass cases on top. The cavernous main hall featured a high ceiling with a stained-glass dome.
