“Though we don’t have the most sympathetic judge, the fact that this case is about two members of the mission community should mitigate any of the judge’s social concerns,” Mr. O’Kinealy says.
Mr. Trevelyan turns his attention back to me. “I ask you a final time, Miss Pigot. Do you wish to continue?”
“Yes.” I say firmly. I’ve gone too far to stop.
“Very well. I have my instructions. Mr. Carruthers will be in touch when we have a court date,” Mr. Trevelyan says.
