She likes to read Bible stories, but has trouble believing them. We talk about each temptation of Jesus. After we talk for about an hour, she throws her spectacles at the Bible.

“The devil’s temptation is my strongest support,” I say, “because I believe God as Christ understands how I am assailed every day. And I can go to Him for grace.”
