“Take me to India,” Judith said impulsively.
Rama shook her head. “I don’t understand. You’re in India.”
“I’m in Pune and spend my time at Sharada Sadan. I must see more, hear more, taste more, and smell more. You traveled across America. Is it so strange I want to see India? You need a rest. Take me to India. Show me what you think I should see and explain it so I understand.”
Rama thought a few minutes. “Perhaps you’d like to see the Taj Mahal?”
“Yes, I would, but I want to see more than monuments. I want to carry India home with me in my heart as well as my head. The combination of your reports and my experience will keep our cause in the public eye.”
“Very well,” Rama jumped up. “We leave tomorrow.”
