Cold, wet air hit Rama’s face. She inhaled deeply as if she couldn’t get enough oxygen into her lungs. Rama found a sheltered corner, exulting in the sheer power of the storm.
“Mano. Mano, turn around and look.”
Mano squeezed her arms and legs tighter.
“Mano, if we face forward with courage, every obstacle will be defeated. When we were in the cabin, fear controlled us. On deck we’re free. Look at the sea, Mano.”
Rama turned so Mano faced the ocean. “It’s just air and water. A minor obstacle on our journey.”
