Mano knelt by her bed and crossed herself. “In the name of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost please hear my prayer.”
“Stop,” Rama said. “Why are you praying this way when I taught you to start by saying ‘dear God’?”
“This is how Ajibai and I pray together.”
“I want you to pray the way I taught you. Begin again.”
“Ajibai told me to always begin my prayers calling on God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. She said if I don’t God can’t hear me. I guess God needs Jesus to tell him there’s a message.”
