Rama blinked back tears. “You decided everything without consulting me.”
Mother Superior continued as though Rama hadn’t spoken. “I think it best you leave Manorama here. There aren’t facilities for children at Cheltenham, and the college is only about fifty miles to the north. You’ll be able to visit during term breaks.”
