The days took on an idyllic regularity. Rama felt like she lived in a different world from anything she’d previously encountered. No sticky heat. No monsoons. No wandering cattle. And the new experience of being folded into the women’s web of love and support.
Rama and Mano visited Sister Geraldine every day after breakfast. Rama loved the generous ground floor room at the back of the house. The morning sun streamed through the window giving it a happy glow.
