Rama gasped.
“I considered their reputations, their financial arrangements, family ties, education, commitment to reform issues, and sympathy for your unique situation.” Srinivas cleared his throat. “Shripad Babaji Thakur wrote from Bombay. He wishes to make your acquaintance. I invited him to call on us this afternoon.”
“And you waited until now to tell me?”
