Rama adjusted her yellow sari. “Hurry up, Krishna. I don’t want to miss anything. I hear drumming.”
“I’m coming.” Krishna draped her head. “I’m glad we arrived in time for Goddess Sarasvati’s festival. You can say a special prayer to her.”
“Will she answer?”
“Eventually.” Krishna grabbed Rama’s hand. The square in front of the temple pulsated with eager worshippers.
