They took ten minutes out to eat lunch and discuss the changes set to engulf Harry when he got home that night.
‘I hope you know what you’re doing, Harry. I wouldn’t want her old man on my case, mate. I’ve seen what he’s like in court.’
‘He’s nothing like that in real life. Besides, it was partly his idea that we move in together. He reckons it’s cheaper to have a trial run than what it is to get divorced.’
‘Yeah, he’s definitely right on that score. I don’t recall it being much fun either.’
