Mindfulness is mindlessness (not the mindlessness of inattention, but the mindlessness of attention.)
An empty mind pays attention; a mind that is full of itself pays no attention.
So I repeat: a mindful mind is a mindless mind.
A mind-ful mind is not full but empty.
A full mind is a closed mind. An empty mind is an open mind.
Mindfulness is seeing mind as mind and redefining yourself as a no-mind.
Mindfulness is about not minding the minding mind.
Mindfulness is about not minding, about not becoming.
Mindfulness is about being with whatever is.
(Confused? Good. Confusion is a prerequisite to enlightenment.)
