An Impromptu Prompt Poem
There’s no time for authoring a novel,
Even short stories are too long to finish.
Only a few lines of a poem I’ve to scribble,
To narrate my life, my vision – my ardent wish.
Fatigue of my day, my strife life-long,
With pains, pride and perspiration, I walk along,
Let me breath into your heart, your aspirations.
Alas! You’ve no time to listen, to gather inspirations,
No time to take a plunge in perception, discussion,
Let your heart resonate with the poem, dance to realisation.
Every move you take, every word you speak,
For a new vision, for a new living you would lead.
Survive I will, we will in thousands, in millions of you,
In the green of the grass, in the blue of the sky –
God granted for our view.
