Standing in front of me was a man I hadn’t seen before in that house. His light blond hair was mixed up in a wild case of bedhead. His white t-shirt and gray sweat pants sagged loosely on him. He had a rounded face with a small mouth and a barely visible chin. He straightened his aviator glasses.
He glanced at my legs. “You have lovely kneecaps.”
“Will you help me with a problem?” He extended his arm towards his room.
