The following Saturday, Sera was home working on the journal for the attorney. Blaze was at the studio with the guys. He was going to come over that night for dinner. He called at three and said he would be over no later than seven.
“I'll be waiting.”
She was on the sofa with her computer in her lap. She started thinking about the boxes they had recovered from her father's house. She put the laptop on the coffee table and went to her room to get the boxes. She returned to her spot on the sofa and opened one of the boxes.
As Sera flipped through some papers she notice some of the hand writing was different. There were pages written in child like letters using markers. There were some papers with writing printed in pencil as if it were homework. And there were others where the writing was ornate calligraphy. Certainly these could not have been written by the same person. Or could they?
Sera organized the pages by date. Then she began to read.
