The presentation of the last interview that took place the previous day led by Analyst Titzi and Sen Atâr had just started at the Icosagon building. It was going to be the decisive day for Deep-Lab999 case and the large turnout was a positive sign of the great interest that the affair had caused.
The venue was used for many purposes and was perhaps the largest of the entire Centre. The structure, shaped like a giant twenty-sided polygon, could hold more than three thousand people. A group of observers who had arrived late had just taken their places in the few remaining empty cubicles of the upper boxes. They were on the highest of the three levels surrounding the central raised platform, the key feature of the Icosagon. The platform was a little more than a hundred square metres in area, just about a metre off the ground but it was able to rise further and turn on its axis when required. That morning, comfortably seated on the mobile stage in ergonomic seats, were Sen Atâr, Analyst Titzi and a dozen other people who had participated in the investigation.
