Dear God,
First off, let’s get this straight. I don’t believe in you.
I’m writing this because today has been the worst day ever and I hear people say when God shuts a door, he opens a window somewhere else. Well, you’ve slammed all the doors in my face today and I’m ready to crawl out a window. Out onto a ledge, maybe.
So, if I did believe in you, God, I would ask you this question: if you are everywhere and all powerful, why is it you just stand around and let crappy things happen? My friend who believes in you says you're everywhere all the time but I’m pretty much convinced you’ve lost my address. She also says that you make even the bad things come out okay in the end--double for your trouble she calls it. Well, God, here’s what I’m asking: make something, anything, good come out of this. I dare you.
