When, years later, I sold that business, I took some time out to think about what really—I mean really—matters. In that liminal space between what had been and what was yet to come, there was that opportunity to ask myself the biggie: the existential question, all capital letters in my head.
What came up for me was beauty. I don’t mean that shallow bit that is all about appearances and cosmetics—but those things of eternal beauty, authentic True Beauty. I remember clearly the moment this thought first struck me.
