I look at my life and think, "Oh my, I wish I had done this differently. How could I have thought that was a good idea?" God wants to perfect us, but it is a long process. As the Lover points out to me, "if you look back, you will see there is change." How I long to "grow up healthy in God, robust in love."

Luke 5:32
“I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent.”
Beloved: Lord, I feel such a failure. I cannot bring myself to confront those with whom I disagree, to stand up for a position, or to take a side. My mind changes like quicksilver.
Lover: Change is a slow and often painful process, but if you look back, you will see there is change. I’m patient and enduring. I will not stop the process until you are perfected in My kingdom. Let Me have My way within you, and in the end you will be free like a bird released from a cage. Hope in Me.
15God wants us to grow up, to know the whole truth and tell it in love—like Christ in everything. We take our lead from Christ, who is the source of everything we do. 16He keeps us in step with each other. His very breath and blood flow through us, nourishing us so that we will grow up healthy in God, robust in love.
